Happy Fair Season!

Ahh, county fair week. It's both the best and the most chaotic week of the summer. For us, it's just all fun: we don't show animals and haven't taken part (besides the livestock auction) in the agricultural portion of the fair due simply to lack of time, but that doesn't mean we don't love it! In fact, our nephews all look forward to the trip to the local fairs with us and we've all had a countdown for most of the summer. The Clearfield County Fair starts today while the Jefferson County Fair starts Sunday: both are full of all the fun and flavors and sights and sounds you'd attribute to a local fair, and we can't recommend the trip enough. It's a bucket list dream of ours to eventually own a gelato scoop cart with enough power to fuel a county fair! Someday, for sure.

For now, we're dedicated to our little farm shoppe and you can find it full of fresh gelato, yogurt, milk and other local delights every Saturday from 10am-2pm! We're fully restocked with all our July gelatos including S'mores and Strawberry Pretzel! We made a fresh batch of Fresh Strawberry gelato with the last of the local strawberries and wow, its' so good. We hope to see you Saturday 10am until 2pm for all things dairy!

I just placed my first order for pickup near Dubois, PA and am so excited for bulk organic oats/seeds/nuts, Khorasan flour (similar to Kamut and seriously my favorite for all baking/breads), avocado oil in bulk, and 25 lbs of organic peaches! • My favorite blueberry muffin recipe, now that the berries are loaded on our blueberry bushes! I use maple sugar and butter in place of sugar/seed oil.
