Spring: Is That You?!

As we welcome the first day of March, we're getting so many signs of spring here in Pennsylvania, and so much earlier than usual! The red-winged blackbirds have made their appearance for over a week now at our feeders (pointed out, of course, by our bird-watching-five-year-old). The deer are always in the pasture stealing the first of the greenest grass. The days are longer and the temperatures are slowly starting to warm!  Oh spring, you're always so welcome here!

March also brings the celebration of your favorite dairy farmer, Jesse's birthday! We love to celebrate Jesse around here, so, we've brought back our fan-favorite BIRTHDAY CAKE BATTER gelato for the month of March!  This gelato is one of the greatest flavors of all time, in my opinion. It tastes like you're licking the bowl of the cake batter, seriously. And with just our classic base, vanilla, cake flour and powdered sugar, it's a pretty simple recipe! PLUS: the sprinkles are even free of artificial dyes and flavors! We try to keep things clean around here, so you can always count on our gelato being free of artificial dye! It's our promise to you! You can grab our birthday cake gelato at the farm shoppe this Saturday (and every Saturday) 10am until 2pm!
