Happy May!
The apple trees are in bloom (and smell WONDERFUL), the grass is green, the pasture is lush and the cows are out for the season! We love May for so many reasons, but the hours of saved barn chores with the cows out in pasture are definitely at the top of our list!

With warmer weather has also brought the first of our calving seasons (we try to calve in the spring and again in fall). We've welcomed FOUR new calves this past month, so the farm is bursting with new life and lots of new little moo's! The kids love the chance to bottle feed and we're so grateful for healthy cows. And you know, more fresh calves mean more milk! So we're planning so fun new dairy this summer: if you follow on instagram you may have caught the mention of yogurt parfait cups! This is a fun, new idea to get a healthy, grab-and-go snack perfect for the warm summer months. We're waiting on approval and labels, but keep your eyes posted for this fun summer treat!

And more gelato is in store this summer, too! This week, we're excited to bring you a peanut butter fan favorite with a twist: we've added Nutter Butter cookies to our delicious peanut butter gelato for a new gelato: PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE! Made especially for those loving peanut butter without the added fluff of chocolate, this is a peanut butter-lover's dream. I can't wait for you all to try this one!

As always, our farm shoppe is open this Saturday and every Saturday 10am-2pm with local dairy, beef and so much more! We can't wait to see you.
