Happy Independence Day! It's a big weekend in our little town and I know my family is feeling extra tired this morning but also so grateful for a fun filled weekend with friends and family in town. We celebrated big yesterday with a parade, fireworks and even fresh firemen donuts! Our small town is such a joy this time of year.

This weekend, our farm shoppe will be open usual Saturday hours from 10am until 2pm and the gelato case is FILLED TO THE BRIM with summer flavors like fresh strawberry, strawberry pretzel and this week's newest flavor: S'MORES!! We worked hard to toast marshmallows to perfection to bring you the most delicious s'mores gelato. Toasted marshmallows, chocolate and cinnamon graham crackers create the flavor the summer's most popular treat. We can't wait for you to try this one!

- Our county fair is just over a week away! Our kids love the chance to ride all the rides and eat all the classic fair foods (funnel cakes! candy apples!) at our local fair starting July 14.

- The science behind freckles: we're all touched with freckles this time of year and I found this so interesting!
- My favorite new find: 52 Modern Manners for Teens. I got this for our 12-year-old but it's a full family favorite! I leave it on the countertop and we find ourselves regularly talking about the subjects and teaching concepts I wouldn't have otherwise thought of! They make a kids version and a second teens version, we'll definitely be keeping up with them all!
- If you haven't heard, we're adding a 4th baby to our family this fall, and this reel made us LOL. In fact, we've even got a few of our own ideas to add!
