Happy Friday!
.
Although Pennsylvania weather has gotten confused, we're into Spring and preparing for Easter in the creamery! It might be a bitter thirty degrees outside with snow and blustery winds (payback for those nice February days?), but we're charging onward in our spring plans! And alas, we've brought back our classic milk chocolate gelato with an Easter theme: Easter egg chocolate gelato is topped with Mini Cadbury eggs! Its a smooth, rich, milk chocolate gelato similar to the creamy chocolate flavor of the Cadbury eggs. This one was a hit last Easter, and we're so glad to bring it back!
.
But don't worry, dark chocolate lovers, I couldn't bring back milk chocolate without it's bittersweet accompaniment: DARK CHOCOLATE GELATO IS BACK, TOO! It's probably my favorite flavor thus far: rich, bittersweet chocolate reminiscent of a 70% cocao chocolate bar. It's so satisfying, and the flavor so intense that you really only need a bite or two (if you can stop there)! We'll try to keep this one on stock more often, because I know you all enjoy it as much as I do!
.
And if you thought you missed it, Key Lime Pie gelato was restocked this week, too! With its tart, sweet flavor, this one is a don't miss, for sure!
.
Our farm shoppe is transitioned for spring, so stop by and stock up on your favorite gelatos, the return of our strawberry milk and our local beef restock! We have farm fresh eggs on hand and so many artisan sweet touches for spring! Our farm shoppe is open every Saturday from 10am until 2pm!

My favorite links + finds from the week:
- Looking for a new way to cook fish this season, and I'm trying this recipe tonight!
- We launched our Farmstead Gelato course: a step-by-step gelato making course for dairy farmers! Grab it 50% off this week if you're interested!
- I can't wait to watch this with the kids!
- Adding these foam planes to my kids' Easter Baskets: they're seriously so fun for ages 3+!
- This silly depiction of a children's playground made me laugh: especially because one of my kids did, in fact, run off the "sheer drop" they speak of!
- The Lost Kitchen is taking postcards for the 2024 dinner season!
Have the best weekend!
xx,
Lisa
