Let’s start with the elephant, err gelato, in the room: NEW FLAVORS ARE HERE!

First up: blueberry cheesecake. And before I give a description, you should know I think this might be my favorite flavor yet. We stirred cream cheese into our warm gelato base before chilling it in our cooler overnight. This overnight chilling, otherwise known as “aging” is so important for flavor and texture development. After aging, we churn the cream cheese base in our gelato machine, and swirl in just enough fresh blueberry compote (blueberries + sugar) and a graham cracker crumble. This flavor and texture is out of this world. I can’t wait for you guys to taste this one.

We’re also so excited to add another chocolate-lovers dream: chocolate hazelnut. Think, Nutella, but make it gelato. Yep, you’ve got it 

Both of these beauties are available this Saturday and next Saturday at our farm shoppe from 10am – 1pm, and we’ll do our best to make more and get it delivered to a store near you during the week!

• I know I’m a broken record, but we’re huge Harry Potter fans in our house. And did you see this?! Harry Potter is becoming a television series! The new Downtown Abbey or Lonesome Dove! The Vivian house is excited.

• I found summer’s most perfect pants at Old Navy, and they’re under $30. I have green but I’m definitely getting another color!

• Lynne and Muir of Meadow and Twilight Farm have the freshest, most beautiful Mother’s Day gift idea in the works and I’m so excited to offer a limited number of pre-orders here! Though our seasons locally don’t allow many varieties of fresh flowers, they have ordered th most beautiful selection of fresh flowers for handmade Mother’s Day Bouquets! Preorders will start next week– at just $35 for a fresh bouquet that will easily last 2 weeks, this is the best gift for the special Mom in your life. Stay tuned for more details.

• It’s been rumored that Dubois is getting a drive-through Starbucks?!! Somewhere by Lowe’s? Is this true? Wow, Dubois. Wow.

• This clean ingredient laundry detergent is quickly. my new favorite. It smells amazing, and leaves your whole house fresh. Cleans well, too
