Happy Friday
It’s officially pumpkin season here at the farm, and we’re adding as much pumpkin flavor as we can! Our pumpkin milk is back: creamy and delicious with real pumpkin flavor and no artificial ingredients or flavors. We also added some of that natural pumpkin flavor to our pumpkin cheesecake gelato, which is BACKKKK! After it’s rapid sell-out, we’ve restocked for the farm shoppe this weekend. And don’t forget our pumpkin yogurt, which is subtly sweet yet fall in a yogurt: the reviews are coming in and this yogurt flavor is turning out to be quite the winner. We’re also adding pumpkin scents in the form of hand soaps and counter sprays and even candles! Pumpkin is ON at our little farm shoppe, and we can’t wait for you to experience the flavor and scent of fall!
We’re gathering for our last official fire of summer tonight, preparing for the official start of Autumn next week. The weather has chilled here in PA, and the excitement of the season is everywhere. We’re not ones to rush a season, but fall is definitely one we’re excited to welcome.
Speaking of Autumn’s welcome: alongside Meadow and Twilight Flower Farm, we’re planning a lovely evening to welcome fall in the flower fields next Saturday September 23 at 5pm. It’s an evening of local food and flower celebration in an evening of flight tastes! Start with a flight of local beer from Mechanistic Brewing, followed by a flight of local beef sliders and finishing with a flight of our fall gelato flavors, accompanied by live music and of course your own hand-picked flower bouquet. This evening is going to be so lovely, and we can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of Autumn with you! Grab your tickets here, we’re just a week away!

- Our friends, Leann and Crystal, pottery makers and owners of Idle Acres Studios in Duboisare hosting a Plein Air Market at their studio on Saturday, September 30 from 10am – 2pm. I’ll be there scooping some of our favorite fall gelato flavors, too! Find them at 926 Behringer Highway in Dubois. This market is going to be such a good one, and even if you come just to see their handmade pottery, I know you’ll find it worth its while.

- Lol’d reading the most hilarious way GPS has screwed people over. I know we’ve had some really wonky routes following a GPS, but these were so good!

- This week’s farm shoppe highlights: FRESH PRESSED APPLE CIDER IS HERE! No apple cider matches Keller’s fresh pressed cider, friends. I’m so excited. We’ll also have another round of fresh NY Honeycrisp apples and Asian pears. And a fresh batch of yogurt and always fresh milk and gelato! Can’t wait to see you at the farm shoppe Saturday 10am- 1pm!
