Happy 2024

Happy 2024, friends. We’re greeted this weekend with a snowglobe!

Those of you who’ve been around a while will notice I’m a day late, but I still wanted to check in for a weekly hello. If you’re new here, welcome to my weekly email (it’s Friday morning delivery, but I lost a day somehow this week!), where I share updates from the farm including new products and flavors, shop hours and pop-ups, new beef arrival and so much more! I always share any new farm stuff here, on our newsletter, before I share it anywhere else. I try to keep it a light, quick read and end with my favorite fun links from the week! Glad you’re here

It’s been a whirlwind of a past month, and we’re ready for the new year! We follow the full 12 days of Christmas and are finally taking our Christmas trees down today, on the Epiphany! It’s so bittersweet. I miss the sparkle of the trees in the house already. But January’s are for a clean slate, and we’re ready!

On the farm, we’ve filled our gelato cooler with the final round of Holiday gelatos, and they’re going fast! This was such a fun year for flavors, and I’ve loved all your feedback and rave reviews of the Holiday flavors. We’re planning a round of shipping of the Holiday flavors next week, so if you want a box of gelato shipped, stay tuned! I always announce our ship-to-home boxes here first

Let’s review this week’s favorite links + finds:

  • My new favorite puzzle, by one of my favorite artists. This one will be made on repeat this winter, for certain.
  • If you bought one of our dried sourdough starters, or if you have a sourdough starter you’d like to get bubbly and ready for baking, I loved this method!
  • Our kids got a refurbished, original Nintendo for Christmas this year and it’s been a whole family hit. It’s nostalgia for Jesse and I–crazy how I completely forgot about those little goombas and troopas but instantly remembered as soon as I saw them! And the music! We found ours on eBay. We wanted to keep away from the hand-held electronics for our kids as long as possible, so the original Nintendo is just perfect for us!

Happy weekend! Happy 2024!

So glad you’re here,

Lisa
